There are no hidden fees or unexpected extras and we’ll explain exactly what to expect through the process during the Initial Assessment Meeting session.

Initial Assessment Meetings

  • Per person
  • 60 mins meeting with 30 mins preparation and follow up
  • Includes letters and calls to the other potential participant
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Joint Session

  • Per person, per session
  • 90 mins joint session
  • Includes document reviewing, record of session, follow ups and communication
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Shuttle Session

  • Per person, per session
  • 90 mins shuttle session
  • Includes document reviewing, record of session, follow ups and communication
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

  • Per person
  • Written outcome statement summarising proposals in a Memorandum of Understanding, Outcome Statement, Open Financial Statement, Parenting Plan
  • *Exact figure to be quoted based on estimated length of time to draft at £150 per hour

The Family Mediation Voucher Scheme

If your case is eligible, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) Family Mediation Voucher Scheme may contribute up to £500 towards the cost of your mediation session.

The voucher is applied for by your mediator – you do not need to complete a separate application.

Eligibility is assessed during your Initial Assessment Meeting.

When do I pay?

Payment is taken before each appointment, when scheduling.

Can we split the cost?

Yes. Each participant normally pays their own fees unless another arrangement has been agreed. Prices are listed per person for ease.

Do I need to pay everything upfront?

No. Fees are paid per session, ahead of the upcoming appointment.

Can I use the voucher for my Initial Assessment Meeting?

No. The government voucher applies to mediation sessions only, not the Initial Assessment Meetings.
